1st Take Video of Yate specialise in making videos of local specialist interest. In a departure from their normal output of mainly architectural and local history material, they have made an interesting video telling the story of club motor sport in the Bristol area over the last 70 years. It has been made in close collaboration with the club, and features long-standing members Phil Rumney and Chris Bigwood, who between them have considerable experience of active participation in club motorsport over many years. They were present at several of the events featured in the archive, and their comments add a lively personal touch to the film.

Phil has been collecting archive film for a number of years, and this video includes extracts of these, intercut with modern video shots of the same locations showing how time has changed the venues.

The VHS-format video is available direct from 1st Take Video, who can be found at www.1st-take.com. Club members may purchase direct from Phil Rumney at a discounted price.
