This car has been competed successfully for the last two years in the ASWMC Hillclimb and Sprint Championship achieving many class awards. Prior to this it competed successfully in the Castle Combe GT Challenge, again achieving second in class in the championship and many class awards. The car is eligible for many race series including Radical UK and Club Cup Series, 750 MC Bike Sports Championship, and many special GT championships. Equally it is highly competitive in the Sports Libre Class at Hillclimbs and Sprints or can be used as a highly effective track day car. It has a current RAC Logbook for Hillclimbing and Sprinting. To the best of our knowledge this car has never been involved in any accidents and the chassis has not been repaired or modified. It has been maintained to a high standard throughout its life, and the overall condition reflects this. It is reluctantly being sold to enable progression to be made to a Hayabusa powered machine. |

| GINETTA G27R FOR SALE |

| Factory built for the Ginetta
Championship which started in 1996 and was used as a Celebrity
Car for a few years before being bought and raced by Boyzone's
Shane Lynch. I bought it from the Ginetta Factory in November
2004 to use in local sprints (Castle Combe, Colerne and Llandow)
and occasional road use. Only a small number of G27Rs were road
registered I believe for use at car shows. Mechanically this car is very well sorted and ready to go but cosmetically it is not brilliant due mainly to cracks in the gel coat on N/S door and rear wing, hence the asking price. I used it at the ASWMC Sprint at Colerne on Monday 25th August 2008. 1.8 Zetec engine modified (cams, head, carbs, etc) a few hundred miles ago to produce 160+ hp but with very broad torque band. At the same time new Avo shocks were fitted and chassis properly setup. All work was carried out by Ginetta specialists Dennis Vessey. Gearbox rebuild shortly afterwards. New Facet fuel pump. Included are 3 sets of wheels and tyres (6 x 13 alloys with 205/60Yoko 048R, 7 x 13 alloys with 205/60 Toyo R888, 5.5 x 13 Weller 8 spoke with 185/13 Yoko021R). Brian James 2 wheel trailer with high level tyre rack available at extra cost. Car and trailer are located mid way Bristol/Gloucester (Charfield, Nr Wotton under Edge). |
