2021 Classic and Performance Parade: Entries Open

We are very excited to invite you to attend the 2021 Bristol Motor Club Classic and Performance Parade which will take place on Sunday 18th July 2021 at Castle Combe Circuit in Wiltshire.

Clearly Covid-19 caveats still apply, but with this being an outdoor event in England and in July, at the time of writing at least it gets the official green light.

Which makes it timely for me to advise one key change which should help us both. Entries and Payment are now both online through a secure portal. Yes, late on in 2019 we invested in a new secure system for both Membership and Event Entry using Card Payments.

One major benefit in these turbulent times is that whether your plans change, or we are forced to pull the plug, even at the last minute, you’ll receive a full refund back to the same card.

Other good news is that the price for Parade Laps is the same as 2019 at £20.00 and as always if you just want to come along to display your car,  it’s completely free of charge.

Whether you’d like to Display or Parade you will need to Sign Up to the Event on our new online system.

Something that is easy to do and works best using a 5 Step Approach:
1. Access the Events Calendar here
2. Scroll down to July to find our Classic and Performance Parade.
3. Click the green ‘Sign up as a Guest’ button on the right (if not a current BMC Member).
4. Select Register, provide an eMail Address and Password, accept the Terms and ‘Complete Registration’.
5. Finally complete the Online Entry Form and for Parade Laps secure online card payment as well.

During this process you’ll receive automatic eMails regarding your Registration, Entry and any Payment made. (Check your Trash or Spam folders if they don’t appear in your Inbox).

Once Signed-Up you can log back on and make changes or withdraw for any reason and at any time. Withdrawing will trigger an automatic refund process taking just a few days to complete.

Registering also enables you to easily enter again next year with the same details, and then every year for as long as we continue with the same system. We also do not use your details for any other purpose or share with any third party organisations  for marketing or any other reason.

The actual Event Format will remain the same as 2019 with a Paddock Display and the option of three 2-3 lap Parade runs at a controlled pace from 10.30am in batches of 24 cars. An exact schedule and any additional Covid-19 restrictions or requirements, as applicable, will be made clear in the weeks leading up to the event.

Please feel free to forward this invitation to anyone else who you think fits the bill for a Classic and Performance Parade.

In the meantime stay safe and sane and obviously if invited vaccinated as we all look forward to more freedom than we’ve endured in the last 12 Months.
